How to link your MIS to Evidence Me using Wonde

Using Wonde to Transfer New Intake Groups into Evidence Me

You can now use Wonde to connect with your school’s database, usually referred to as a Management Information System (MIS), to transfer new intake groups and learners into Evidence Me.

There may be a charge for using the WONDE service with Evidence Me. Your sales representative will be able to provide further information, so please contact them directly before continuing or email hello@2simple.com

Please note: This service is for new intake classes only.

    • You cannot link Wonde with classes and learners that have already been manually added to Evidence Me.
    • New schools/settings using Evidence Me for the first time can transfer all classes using Wonde.
    • Existing schools/settings will only be able to transfer the new intake year group each year (e.g. just the nursery group), while keeping existing learners as they are.

Step 1: Contact Support

Email support@evidence.me and let us know you’d like to connect using Wonde. Please include:

    • Your Wonde administrator’s name and email address
    • Your school/organisation name and DFES number
    • Your school address and postcode

Step 2: The Evidence Me support team Contact Wonde

The Evidence Me support team will request the connection with Wonde for your school on your behalf.

Step 3: Approve Access in Wonde

In your Wonde control panel, you’ll see a pending Evidence Me Application listed. Confirm that you want to give access. If you need any assistance approving the Evidence Me Application, please contact support@wonde.com

Step 4: Class Transfer

Once Wonde notifies us that access has been approved, we’ll transfer class groups from your MIS that include the suffix (Evidence Me).

Choosing Which Classes to Import

Not all classes within your MIS will need to be imported into Evidence Me. Importing all class groups could exceed your pupil user limit.

You have two options when choosing which classes to import:

Option 1: Send us a list

    1. Write down the exact class/group names from your MIS that you want to import.
    2. Email this list to our support team (support@evidence.me)
    3. The support team will then ensure those classes are the only ones pulled through from Wonde.

Option 2: Create new groups in your MIS

    1. In your MIS (e.g. SIMS, Arbor), create new class groups.
    2. Add (Evidence Me) to the end of each group name.
    3. Place all relevant learners into these groups.
    4. When a sync is run, only those classes where Evidence Me is at the end of the group name will be pulled through.

Transferring Parent Email Addresses

You may also transfer parent email addresses from your MIS into Evidence Me. To prevent accidental emails from being sent, we’ll follow an extra confirmation step:

    1. Tell us you’d like parent emails transferred.
    2. We’ll send you the full list of parents and emails available from your MIS.
    3. Confirm which emails you want us to add. Also, tell us if you’d like:
      • Parents to be automatically invited by email, or
      • You need to send invitations manually in Evidence Me.
    4. We’ll add the parent emails accordingly.

Please note: Many learners may have more than one parent email. If you don’t want multiple contacts per child, you may prefer to add them manually yourself.
